What is SCENAR

Developed by the Russians for use by space-bound cosmonauts, it’s a hand-held medical device that treats chronic pain and anxiety without drugs.

The non-invasive, computer-modulated, electro-stimulation SCENAR helps regulate the body’s own healing resources – no matter what the condition or disease. It can be used for acute or chronic pain as well as nervousness and tension. In many cases, patients on painkillers or anxiety medications can end their dependence on these substances.

After measuring energy pathways and revealing asymmetries, SCENAR sends feedback to the brain which then loops to the area of pain, returning the body and mind to homeostasis. SCENAR communicates with the parasympathetic nervous system to “turn off” areas of pain or anxiety.

In Russia, SCENAR is used singly or in conjunction with other modalities to treat the following systems:

In the USA, the FDA lists SCENAR as a biofeedback device for stress reduction and muscle re-education.

SCENAR should not be used if the following are present:

• Electrical Implants
  
• Acute infectious diseases of unknown origins
  
• Serious mental disorders
